The courses at Laurus College are designed to best assist the student in meeting employment goals, while providing a progressively challenging atmosphere for the student. The design of the classes gives the student the opportunity to learn new material while using projects created in previous lessons. Students are provided with a wide variety of instruction each day using lecture techniques, computer based training modules, practice testing with live examinations, and hands-on laboratory exercises. All of the Office Certificate programs utilize Microsoft approved courseware. The Information Technology and Networking Programs utilize CompTIA approved courseware. The 3D Animation Certificate Program teaches students using industry standard software. The Web Design Program trains students in several web development software programs. The Medical Billing Certificate Program utilizes courseware designed around AACP guidelines. Through Laurus College, students gain the knowledge and skills to be competitive in some of today's fastest growing employment fields.
